Great Deceivers is playing our first show in a while at the Beat Kitchen on 2/15, and we're tying up some loose ends for a new release

I've been in Nashville since Friday recording Gnarwhal's new LP in this great house. It's been an awesome experience, and we're finishing tracking tonight. I drive back to Chicago tomorrow, with some rad shows to look forward to and a few sessions left this month.

I just released a short record called 'besides' for a pay-what-you-want donation. All money goes to Standing Rock Medic & Healer Council. GoldFlakePaint and the Chicago Reader said some nice stuff about it.



Winter Classic dropped a new song from their side of a split that I recorded and mixed. It's streaming over at New Noise now.

I'm now offering mastering. Check it out on the Recording tab.

I recently mastered a new record for About a Million, and you can hear that below.

Coaster is going on tour down to Florida for Fest 15 with our homies in Annabel. Post-Trash also premiered a tune from our forthcoming 7", Deuces (via Community Records and Sooper Records). We'll be playing at Aux Arts Center with some awesome bands for the release show on 10/10.

Options' new full length, Maxed Out, is out now on cassette via Sooper Records, as well as bandcamp, spotify, itunes, etc digitally! Tour was great, and I'm hoping go out for longer next year. We'll also be playing Fest at Rockey's on 10/28, where I'll also be drumming with Lifted Bells.

I've been having a great time recording at Pallet Sound. Lots of exciting new stuff to share soon. Also, I'm taking on some mastering projects now - email me if you're interested in booking time, etc.

Post-Trash is streaming a track from the new Options album, which is called Maxed Out. It will be out 9/30 on Sooper Records. Check out a live video of us playing Comfort Blanket at my studio, Pallet Sound.

Busy summer! In brief:

I'll be playing in Nature's Neighbor and Nnamdi's Sooper Dooper Secret Side Project at the Beat Kitchen on 8/20 for Sooper Records' launch party! This is gonna be a crazy show. Sooper Records is a new record label started by my friends Glenn and Nnamdi. Check them out at www.sooperrecords.com

Options is playing Wicker Park Fest in a couple weeks.
