I've been in Nashville since Friday recording Gnarwhal's new LP in this great house. It's been an awesome experience, and we're finishing tracking tonight. I drive back to Chicago tomorrow, with some rad shows to look forward to and a few sessions left this month.

I just released a short record called 'besides' for a pay-what-you-want donation. All money goes to Standing Rock Medic & Healer Council. GoldFlakePaint and the Chicago Reader said some nice stuff about it.



Winter Classic dropped a new song from their side of a split that I recorded and mixed. It's streaming over at New Noise now.

Coaster is going on tour down to Florida for Fest 15 with our homies in Annabel. Post-Trash also premiered a tune from our forthcoming 7", Deuces (via Community Records and Sooper Records). We'll be playing at Aux Arts Center with some awesome bands for the release show on 10/10.

Options' new full length, Maxed Out, is out now on cassette via Sooper Records, as well as bandcamp, spotify, itunes, etc digitally! Tour was great, and I'm hoping go out for longer next year. We'll also be playing Fest at Rockey's on 10/28, where I'll also be drumming with Lifted Bells.

I've been having a great time recording at Pallet Sound. Lots of exciting new stuff to share soon. Also, I'm taking on some mastering projects now - email me if you're interested in booking time, etc.

Post-Trash is streaming a track from the new Options album, which is called Maxed Out. It will be out 9/30 on Sooper Records. Check out a live video of us playing Comfort Blanket at my studio, Pallet Sound.

Coaster, Great Deceivers, and Pyramid Scheme all have new music that is recorded & mixed, and will be released this year. More, too, but don't wanna count my chickens before they hatch.

Options is playing Wicker Park Fest in a couple weeks.

Coaster, Options, and Lifted Bells are playing FEST 15 in October.

Tomorrow (Saturday, 4.16.16), I am playing three shows: two with Great Deceivers and one with Lifted Bells. Gonna be a doozie!

I am really psyched to announce a new space I'm working out of, Pallet Sound. Pallet is located in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, and features a big beautiful live room and a separate control room. Title track of the new Great Deceivers EP that I recorded/mixed is finally up, along with 7" preorders! Check it out.

New Color posted a track from their upcoming EP, Happiness. It's out on 3/12, and it rules. I tracked the drums and vocals for it at Minbal.

Just dropped a few orders of Options stuff to the post office. Also found a few more shirts and updated the bandcamp webstore - once this particular iteration of the glow-in-the-dark shirts is gone, they're gone forever. More shirts will be made, but each run has different variations to keep things ‪#‎fresh‬.

Also, Coaster will be at SXSW, which also means Options 3-piece-rock-band will be at SXSW! If you can help either band with a showcase, I'd super appreciate it! Tryna play as much as humanly possible during my time in Austin.

Options band's next show is 2/11 at the Empty Bottle with Des Ark, which is very cool. We'll be playing some stuff from LP5 for the first time live!
